How Nodd collects, uses and protects personal information, including the payroll data we work with.
Nodd (“we”, “us”) is a payroll business based in Sydney, New South Wales. ABN: [to be added]. You can contact us about privacy at hello@nodd.pro. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
When you contact us, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, work email, phone number, company and information about how your payroll runs today. When you become a client, we access the payroll information you authorise, which can include employee names, pay rates, hours, tax file numbers, superannuation details and bank details. When you visit this website, we may collect basic usage data through cookies and analytics.
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide and improve our services, prepare and check pay runs you ask us to handle, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
We use our own software, and some AI tools, to check payroll data and prepare our work, only for the services you have asked for, such as checking timesheets against an award. A person reviews our work and you approve every pay run. We do not use client payroll data to train public AI models.
We share information only where needed to provide our services or where the law requires it. This can include the payroll, accounting and rostering software you connect, our hosting and email providers, a registered BAS agent we work with, and government agencies such as the ATO.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Where possible we use providers that store data in Australia. Some providers may store data overseas, and we will tell you which ones on request.
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@nodd.pro. If you have a complaint, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
